"The General"
Celene as Bobsey 2
It was good times in our little apartment with Keeli, Celene, Mike, Andrew, Rosemary, Pia, Ellen and Raven as the continued and rotating cast of friends!  The next door apartment had 12 guys from various countries who partied harder than us...but just barely!  It was good times all around from the wall of beer, unending cane rum and limes, vibrant music at all hours and sleeping away the daytime. Our apartment was in Pelhourino, the older part of the city but that didn't stop us from taking the elevator to the bus to Barra for the Big Time Blocko action.
Then the guys next door had a beer bong, which was then named the 'Celine Biong'.  Due to my experience at Phi Delt, I managed to convince them that a little butter in the funnel eliminates foam.  They were skeptics then converts!  Celene showed that Biong what was what!
We ran out of propane so Raven and Andrew helped refill it...at the coffin store.
Rosemary after an evening of 'good times'....
My punch face photo and four days later.
NEXT- BLOCKO ACTION
One night we used all of Mike's zinc sticks to write all over people.  They glowed.  Hope he didn't get too burnt!
This photo was taken after I tried to 'feed Celene like a baby bird' by spitting chewed up crackers at her.  She didn't want it though.  I don't understand why not...seemed like a good idea at the time...
Celene and I decided to get tatoos...oh yeah.  Mine is a skull with a snake winding through it and Cel has a naked lady (oh my!) rising out of the ocean.
Our Gang...we've been attacked by knives, tackled thieves, punched in the face and groped inappropriately... um...our gang is awesome!!!! Go TEAM BOBSEY!
You Think You Know....
But You Have No Idea!
Each person deals with the end of Carnaval in their own unique way....I slept with a smile on my face, Rosemary passed out(!) in the hammock with a silly grin and Celene pulled out her inner rockstar and made Ramen while wearing sunglasses inside.
