Life was soooo
hard....
KOH PHI PHI
After arriving in Bangkok and
staying there for about 5 days, we
got sick of all the traffic and noise
and with the promise of a beach
within an overnight bus ride was too
tempting.  So we boarded an
awesomely ghetto bus (there was
old velvet curtains and tassles
adorning the windows) and headed
down the Eastern Coastline to
Phuket.  Then after negotiating a
500baht fare for the ferry over to
the island of Koh Phi Phi...we were
off! It was Zoe's last portion of her
vacation and we were now in full on
party and R&R mode.  It was rainy
season and little sun was seen-
either from it raining so hard it
flooded or because we slept the day
away due to the many late nights of
red bull, sangsom and dancing.....
Our hostel was awesome due to it's great location
and the Australian owner was super friendly
despite the fact that she lost her toddler and sister
in the tsunami.
Nights out.....
To Start:
buy one bottle of sangsom 'thai
whiskey'
and three bottles of thai redbull
(contains ingredients not
approved by the FDA here in the
US!) and 3 liter Singhas.
...then you hit your stride and the night flies by!
RECOVERY.....
Disasterous "Amateur Muay-Thai" attempts!
Well...my style isn't so much muay thai as it is
