I am a super pumper! For someone who has typically low blood pressure I sure donated my blood at a super fast rate yesterday! 11 minutes from start to finish. 114/90 heartrate 70. THEN I sat down to drink my apple juice and eat my cheese-it's (my absolute favorite junkfood snack) and the preps guys who just donated sitting across from me ask, "you okay?" I say, "yeah, sure, um...no, I uh,...ugghhhhh" they called for the nurse I put my head down and focused on just staying ALIVE. I always know the risk of fainting is big with me, I always get a little light headed and a bit nauseus but this time is happened with a swiftness! I got to lay on a cot and got cold compresses on my back and chest. In 6 minutes, I was totally back to normal! and I'd just saved a life with my sweeeet O- blood. I took three packs of cheese-its too. They are my achilles heel of snack foods. SO GOOD!!
I moved outta my place last night for the rest of the month and will now be staying with Mandy & Dustin and Amber and Jason for the remainder of the month! It feels surprisingly liberating to be nomadic for the time being! Unfortunately I have an entire suitcase of shoes. All my stuff fit into a teensy suitcase but my shoes, well, had to do it, got their own suitcase. It's also a friday, so I'm feeling pretty fine indeed!! Happy hour tonight with my Getty peeps....is it five yet?!

UGGGHHHH Coachella was FANTASTIC!! Let's just try to sum up the music, because really, that's what rocked my socks off. In no particular order of amazingness....
Hot Chip - I haven't danced so hard since highschool. Killed it. Calvin Harris - best stumbled upon act thus far, Santogold - SO AMAZING, we bounced and played this at full volume all weekend at the house. Does it Offend You, Yeah? great live, Kid Sister w/ A-Trak could not stop shaking my ass, Spank Rock (but not them, it was the ladies of the group rockin' it.)
Overall this is who I saw in total:
Friday: The Raconteurs, Aphex Twin, Pendulum, Spank Rock, dan le sac Vs. Scroobius pip, Adam Freeland, Cut Copy
Saturday: Prince, Portishead, Rilo Kiley, MIA, Hot Chip, Kate Nash, Calvin Harris, Junkie XL, Yo! Majesty, Yelle
Sunday: Gogol Bordello, Does it Offend You, Yeah?, Metric, Kid Sister with A-Trak
It was super hot on Saturday, but that was my 'on' day, it was all day long and I made sure there was hydration and food involved. No booze, just H20, acai smoothies, fresh coconuts, Luna Bar, bananas. Not humanly possible to motivate to get there at 3pm, just wasn't gonna happen with all that heat. But having the pool and the sweet house was so bonus. I feel so rested (crazy huh?!) after being able to chillax poolside and have delicious food at the house and listen to great music. Oh, getting a 30 minute massage on Saturday didn't hurt things too much either.

IT'S BEEN TOO LONG!! That's because I'm allsmilingtoomyselfandgigglinglikeanidiot, fair territory for someone who is enjoying what's going on in their life.
I should recap the bday bash: After work Scott, myself and Ian all headed to El Carmen for dra-zinks and a bite to eat. My invite was this: "I'll be at El Carmen from probably 6:30 to 9:00, show up if you can and hang, anytime. Well, Dustin, Mandy, Kelly, Rebecca, Desiree, David, Meredith, Jas, Suki, Ed, Meghan, Marisa all showed up! I got shot after shot after shot...there was about 8 pages of tequila on the menu. Day-um. At the end of the evening, say oh, 9:45, we walk out of the resteraunt and lo and behold, who does Mandy and Marisa spy? None other than Justin Timberlake. SO, despite my drunken refusals, I'm dragged over and they request a picture of me with him for my bday, well, he looks at me says "It's not really your birthday is it." my response?: "oh yes it is, these fine ladies bought me seven shots".....then I put my arm around him, smile for pictures........and say, "I lied......It was NINE shots!" cackle, then stride away, back to my peeps on the sidewalk.

Good freakin times.
So currently, I'm busy bouncing between Venice and the valley house-sitting. It makes coming back to my sweet pad in HW all the more rewarding. I did get a call whilst I was drunken last night from Justice asking if we could switch rooms, he's got serious allergies and would enjoy the back bedroom (mine) and would I trade him for the more spacious front bedroom (his)? My thoughts:
pros-direct access to the bathroom, bigger closet, windows for putting in an aircon unit
cons-hot, dusty, loud, LOUD
This comes into play as I usually wake up at around 6ish a.m. and any late night revelry that I'm not instigating would be a problem. So I've got an appointment to sleep there next Sunday and Monday to test it out.
And as far as my current obsessions, I'm on a plain fat-free yogurt and rice cakes kick. I LOVE my yogurt, I cannot get enough of it and feel that it can go into any and all dishes. MMMmmmm.....Oh yeah, and Cabernet is also a newbie, introduced by Jason. I believe I'll be starting my newest photo project next week as well, it'll be about my roommates. I haven't told them yet, but that's kinda the point. Josh recently came down and Amir, Jason and myself all got pretty sauced a good amount. This is my fav photo though, this is our 'prep work' for getting out of the house and over to Venice to drink beer by the ocean. I'd 'warmed up' with 3 Pacificos. God, it's been good times as of late!!

Yes, cutting 10 inches off was my symbolic act of...um, well...I dunno...change? The strangest part is how sensitive my neck is! I also got the promotion to 'Production Coordinator' yay title change! In one week this is what occurred: Monday - car accident, Wednesday - promotion, Friday - my supervisor quits, Saturday - meet Hillary Clinton. Whew! All in a weeks work I guess. Tomorrow is my bday and I'm spending it at the bar. It'll be an epic happy hour hopefully followed by an epic session of Rock Band. As I am still somewhat recovering from the epidemic flu/cold I had, I'll be taking it marginally easy! I'll pass on the sugar-loaded margaritas in favor of puro tequila! It's my bday after all....
Lately I have been having the most intensely realistic dreams, to the point where I have occasionally confused conversations and questions from my dreams and reality.

SO MUCH TO CATCH UP ON!
Mostly I'll just say that since my show, things have been good. Except for one Christmas Eve when someone smashed out my car window and stole my purse bastardsassholethievingfucks. BUT, I've since calmed down about the issue and have steadily been emotionally replacing the things that were taken. For example, for the journal that was in the purse, I've decided to sum up the 6 months that were written about into bullet format and write about only the positive experiences. It was a good exercise.
Here is the emailed summary to a friend:
I'll give you the short version of my holiday, the extra-fun details will be supplied when we have beverages in our hands and I can be explicit about my activities... 24th drove from LA to stockton, parked at yoga studio to buy mom's present, car window was smashed and purse stolen, body starts to shut down with sickness, battle with the credit card companies and extreme anger turns to sadness (they got my red glasses, my jewelry and my journal from the past six months! BASTARDSTHIEVES!!), get drunken with old highschool friends, drive to SF, eat sushi, take best friend back to LA with me, go to a show at El Cid, followed by the Skream party downtown until the very wee hours, do nothing but watch onDemand, drink lots of wine, stay up all night with friend watching the purple lights flicker around the carpet of my apartment*, drive to tijuana, throw a raging new years party.
Whew!
*in-person explanation necessary.
