The Petronas Towers....rise out of a mall.  A huge mall.  A mall that offers a cineplex with 18 screens.  Saw the Da Vinci Code yesterday (two separate subtitles appeared in Malaysian and perhaps Chinese? which was crazy because all the French we didn't understand), after walking around Chinatown and buying bootleg cd's.  Today was spent again at the mall, watching an afternoon family performance for the symphony and then the aquarium.  I actually held a scorpion.  Could not bring myself to hold the squirming disgusting grubs though.  I drew the line there.  Music is a wonderful thing.  I feel like I have mono of the soul.
