Now in Luang Prabang, Laos.  The most amazing trip down the Mekong!  Just happened to naturally gravitate towards this one other traveller, s swiss-american woman and we had the coolest most chilled out boat trip.  8 hours flew by thanks to a few Beer Laos!  The atmosphere here is indescribable, the mountains are jungle-covered and bamboo forests line the riverside.  The chocolate-milk consistency of the Mekong just heightens the scenery around it.  I've got lots to catch up on but I want to do it with photos! THUS, there will be further accounts at a later date.  The game is back on tonight with Argentina v. Germany...whoo hoooo!  Looks like, surprise, surprise, I might be drinking and watching futbol.  Such is my life lately. 

Top game times:

1. watching with Celene at 3:45 a.m. in Koh Tao jumping on the bed screaming at the t.v. for the USA v. Italy game

2.  on the beach of Had Rin, Koh Phangan on a huge screen with Cel and Ryan 'the Doctor' drinking out of a bucket with 5 multi-colored straws.

3. in a closed bar (after hours 2-4a.m.!) with Matt watching France v. Spain (and the last four seconds of the game and winning a bet!)

4. The Australia v. Italy game in an Aussie bar in Chiang Mai.  nuff said.
