Entry for May 12, 2006
I LOVE THAILAND!! I was sick on the plane over though...lame. Now that we're here, it's great....the food is absolutely deliscious and it will only get better when we hit up the peninsula.
notes on leaving-
I love my family more than I can express. When I think of how we tried to leave Cassidy at school while me, mom and Jacy went to the BART to drop me off, I start to cry. She was crying and I was crying and my Mom started to cry and then we said, "fuck it, get in the car, no one's going to school today! Let's all take Keeli!" awesome. I love my brother Travis too- he should come visit! We remnisce about my Dad tons. When I was there, I asked him to stop by the gas station and get me a diet coke. I handed him .75 cents and he was looking for more change. I said, "Travis, that's enough for a can of diet coke! Just go get it." He replied, "I was going to get you a bottle instead." That led to the conversation where I expressed my preference for the cans...there's just something WAY BETTER about the can. He then told me something I forgot- that my dad only drank diet pepsi- from the can. He'd refuse to buy a 2-liter and make my brother pour like 3 cans into a big cup with tons of ice. He never drank without ice, turns out that I don't either. |
