The return of routine

1. KEEP IT SIMPLE : no more trying to get 5 gazillion peeps together to do stuff, find something I like, plan on doing it myself and then put the word out there for others to join in if desired...on their own dime and timeframe! (a la 'The Sounds' concert next monday!!)


2. BUDGET, BUDGET, BUDGET...WITHIN REASON: I now realize that I've got to splurge a little once and awhile in order to keep myself happy. My 7$ succulent purchases yesterday (7 of 'em!!) at the 99cent store definitely count!


3. BETTER SKIN CARE: the sun is satan. so are cigarettes. moisturize, repeat.


4. MODERATE EXERCISE IS OKAY: I am easing up on myself, I've been pushing myself too hard the last few months and I am enjoying a hardcore regime on MWF but the TTh are less intense and I feel more rested. I also eat a lot less if I don't kick my ass as hard.


5. EYE ON THE PRIZE: I need to focus on a more macro picture of my goals, say five years down the line. What do I want to be doing? Where do I want to have traveled? What would I not just be satisfied with but happy with?

5. Is the best, how many people do this? It is funny, I am always encouraging students to do it, it is really hip to see an adult doing it.
